I felt more like I was visiting relatives than staying somewhere new. Everyone was so kind, and the house felt full of warmth. The room had all we needed, and the location was good. Even with the outside noise, the walls kept things quiet inside. Wishing them all the best!

Mounir, the riad manager, was genuinely kind and tried hard to help. He was the one bright spot for us. The owner, Nourredine, handled our report about missing money very poorly. We'd kept the room locked and hidden the cash in our backpack, but after we spoke to him, he said it was our problem and that he couldn't do anything. We felt dismissed and really disappointed by his lack of respect for us as clients. The room also didn't match the photos. The door had large gaps, so you could hear every sound, and it didn't feel secure. There was mold in the bathroom too, which caused a strange smell.

It's an old building right in the middle of the local Medina, with reasonable prices. The people running it were some of the kindest and most genuine I met in Morocco, and they were very helpful. The neighborhood is quite poor, so take care when heading out. For a short trip, the owner will walk with you to wherever you're going.

The location worked really well: about a five-minute walk to the local vegetable market and little square, and under ten minutes to Jemaa El Fna. Inside, the courtyard was a peaceful break from the busy streets, and our private room and bathroom were comfortable. We only booked one night and wished we'd stayed four. Mouna and her family made us feel so welcome, starting with tea and biscuits when we arrived. She gave us a map and showed us how to find the riad and which roads to use. Before we left, she made a lovely breakfast with pancakes, bread, jam, cheese, yogurt, orange juice, and coffee. We felt thoroughly spoiled. A few days later in Marrakech, we ran into her husband while looking for a taxi. He remembered us, flagged one down, and negotiated the fare. I love this family!
