As a woman travelling alone, I need to feel safe, and this area didn't feel safe to me. After waiting about 10 minutes for someone to answer the door, I decided something was wrong and took a taxi elsewhere. I'm now unsure whether the local people who helped with my suitcases had brought me to the right place. They were lovely and led me to the Riad door, and children in the street also said it was the Riad I wanted. But the front doors all looked alike, and the area didn't resemble the pictures. I had followed the staff's directions, so I'm not sure how it went wrong. I booked on the same day I arrived in Morocco, and reached the property within an hour of booking. I understand there was a cancellation fee if I didn't stay, and would have accepted a small one. Since nobody answered the door, though, I felt it was unfair to charge for all four planned nights. I messaged the staff to explain, but instead of trying to understand, they sent me abusive messages. They called me an idiot for possibly being at the wrong place, accused me of lying, and said they would sue me for lying in a review. I don't know what staying here is actually like, so I'm not saying people shouldn't come. I'm sharing how the staff treated me when they were angry, and advising caution. I wanted a chance to explain before being verbally abused. This person needs to learn a thing or two about human decency.

Some evenings we arranged dinner at the Riad, and both the food and service were impeccable. We also really enjoyed breakfast. The staff looked after us and made sure we had a good stay. It's in a quiet, convenient spot and feels like a hidden gem. I'd highly recommend it.

We were only a five-minute walk from the main square, while the Riad itself was in a very calm part of the Medina and close to all the sights. Aronne, the owner, and the staff took great care of us and helped us plan our time in town. We spent three nights there and had a blast 🤩.

Sala was already waiting for us out on the street when we arrived late at night. He helped with our suitcases and got the rooftop jacuzzi ready. The rooms were clean and had an authentic, traditional feel, and the staff were unbelievably friendly, always smiling. We had a great stay at this Riat. The service was superb, and it's excellent value for the money. You're doing a great job!
