Equity Point Marrakech

This was my second visit, and we were greeted by the lovely Riham. She was so welcoming, explained the hostel really clearly, and got us checked in smoothly. Within five minutes we were already laughing. The rest of the staff have been lovely too, which is why we’re coming back for a third time in a few days. The hostel is beautiful and a perfect oasis after time in the busy souks. A great place to stay when visiting Marrakesh.

The pool, several places to relax, and a rooftop with sunbeds and views over Marrakesh make the hostel an easy place to spend time. There’s also a bar upstairs that works well for hanging out. It’s in the Medina, roughly a five-minute walk from Jemaa el-Fna, with sights, food, and little shops nearby. The dorms are clean and relaxed, with en suite bathrooms but no curtains around the beds. Private rooms seem comfortable, though pricey for a hostel. The restaurant is handy but not the best value. Friendly staff and an easygoing social atmosphere make it a good base in the city.

The staff were welcoming every time, always smiling and checking how I was doing. It made the place feel relaxed and pleasant. This was the best hotel I stayed in during my two weeks in Morocco. I booked six nights and it exceeded all my expectations. The location worked well for getting around: about eight minutes to the Medina exit and main square, and around ten minutes to the madrasa. The beds were comfortable, the rooms had everything I needed, and housekeeping came daily. The pool is open from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM, reception is open around the clock, and there’s security outside. I felt safe coming back late at night or early in the morning. I also paid a €10 deposit, which was returned within five days without any trouble. Highly recommended!

The staff were always kind, and they helped sort out a small problem with my booked airport shuttle, including giving me a refund, so it all worked out. Breakfast was very good too, and the cat is a prince 😍 The riad is incredibly beautiful, with lovely shared spaces, a pool, and great architecture throughout. It’s a five-minute walk to all the places. There’s a rooftop bar where you can relax with a beer and watch the sunset. I’d planned to stay two days, but decided to add another.
