For You Hostel Marrakech - Adults Only

We stayed a few nights with my two brothers. The staff were really helpful and friendly, and it has a rooftop. The price is really good compared with almost all the hostels in the Medina, which is probably why you’re reading this anyway.

It’s cheap, but for a couple more euros I’ve stayed in much better places with breakfast included. It was noisy outside, and the reception was neither bad nor good.

The rooms for couples and the shared dorms are great. For you Riad is the best hostel in Marrakech. It’s about a 20-minute walk from Jemaa El- Fna, the city’s most visited square. Hostels closer to it are hard to find, and they don’t have the same beautiful rooftop terrace where you can relax and meet other people travelling around Morocco. The Kasbah is a traditional Moroccan area with beautiful architecture and lots of very friendly local people.

We didn’t sleep well, even though it was quiet from 1 AM to 7 AM, because we had to get up at 7 AM every day. Near the foot of our bed there was also a strong smell of urine. I felt like I’d been scammed: I booked a room in a riad, but it turned out to be a hostel. There were people sleeping at reception when we arrived, and getting to our room meant walking along a corridor with shared bathrooms. People were washing their feet in the sinks.
