Free People Riad and Spa

The tea and henna session was such a fun part of the visit. We learned about Moroccan tea, made a few kinds, then heard about henna and picked our own designs. There were snacks, dancing, and kaftans too. The new hammam is beautiful, and having the option to book it privately for a few hours was incredible. The riad is in a handy spot, peaceful but still walkable to lots of places around the city. The staff are fantastic and know their stuff, and the food is delicious. Somehow, it seems to get better every time I come back.

The location worked so well for us, inside the medina but down a quiet back alley. Our rooms, Latifa and Asma, were spotless, with heavenly beds, and we had delicious breakfasts in the salon each morning. We were also invited to celebrate New Year's Eve with the staff, which was a lovely time. Pilar and the team treated our family of four like family themselves. They helped arrange bookings around town, and the private drivers they use were punctual, friendly, and reasonably priced. They also suggested a dinner at an upscale place in the Agafay desert that all of us loved. We tried the hammam and the Friday night Spanish/Moroccan dinner at the riad, and both were wonderful. We'd wholeheartedly recommend staying here in Marrakech.

Mornings were a treat, with fresh, delicious breakfast options. The atmosphere was warm and relaxing, and the staff were so friendly and ready to help. Everything was spotless and well cared for, which made me feel comfortable right away. A lovely place to stay, and I’d definitely recommend it.

The team made our stay memorable, always friendly, attentive, and happy to help. Nothing we asked for seemed like too much, and their kindness made us feel at home from the start. Riad Free People is beautiful, thoughtfully designed, and well maintained, with a relaxing, authentic feel. We were extremely happy with our experience and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Marrakech. A big thank you to everyone there!
