The rooftop terrace was really nice, and we felt at home throughout our stay. The staff were great and helped us with everything, plus they served delicious mint tea and breakfast for free. A perfect hostel for the price, and we had a great time.

There are some good things here: the atmosphere is nice, the price is reasonable, and the rooftop is a great place to smoke shisha and relax. The rooms, though, can get very cold at night. I also found the Sahara desert trip sold here pretty rubbish. The only good part was reaching the actual desert. They drove us around for hours, took us to places where food was overpriced for tourists, and offered no explanation of the sights. Some stops were just rundown pieces of land with buildings on them. I still don't know what a few of the places we visited were. I'd strongly discourage anyone from taking that trip.

Waka Waka Hostel is cute and in a great location. The staff offered us orange juice when we arrived, which is a must, and made us feel like family. We haven't found this kind of hospitality at any other hostel in the world. They were incredibly accommodating: they kept our bags free of charge for three days while we went to the Sahara Desert, and even made breakfast early because we had to leave before the usual breakfast time.

The manager walked around with us on our first night, showed us the area, and explained Marrakech and how to stay safe. The staff were beyond friendly, and the price was great. Waka Waka was easy to find after our airport taxi dropped us off, and it was close to the central shops and restaurants, just where you want to be. After backpacking all across Europe, this was my favorite hostel. I'd recommend it to everyone for a real feel for Marrakech.

We had our best time in Morocco during the five days we stayed there. The place was great and we met lots of people, so there was never a dull moment. The staff were lovely and helpful, and when we got sick they took very good care of us. We strongly recommend this hostel!
