The pool was lovely, our room was comfortable, and the hotel itself is beautiful, with amazing décor throughout. We also liked the location, and the gym was well equipped. But check-in left a bad impression. An employee offered to enter the WiFi password on my phone and my husband's. After that, without asking us, she wrote and posted a positive Google review from both devices. That was completely unacceptable and inappropriate. Breakfast needs better organization and more variety. The bidet in our room was leaking and clearly needed maintenance. We weren't impressed by the pool restaurant's food quality either, although the staff there were very friendly, attentive, and helpful. Our room was quiet overnight. From around 7:00 a.m. onward, though, we could hear the planes very clearly, which might bother lighter sleepers.

The spa was well kept, and the gym had excellent modern Technogym equipment. The pool and outdoor spaces were maintained well too. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the bars and restaurants were good. We visited during a quiet time of year, and staff dealt with any issues quickly. The main buffet food was good and clearly labelled, with an adequate selection, though it got a bit repetitive. The hotel is pretty and close to the city centre and medina. It's under the flight path, so you hear noise every few hours if that bothers you. Rooms were comfortable and air conditioning worked well. Some could use modernising. If possible, choose a pool view, since trees block the view from garden rooms.

The food was a daily treat, especially the Indian dishes from Chef Yuseff. Everything was full of flavour, beautifully presented, and clearly made with care and skill. At breakfast, Sufiyan greeted us with a smile each morning and made the start of the day feel relaxed and welcoming. His attention to detail and readiness to help didn't go unnoticed. Salim, the bar manager, was outstanding from the moment we arrived. He was attentive, anticipated what we needed, and brought a warm, professional manner that made us feel looked after. He went above and beyond to help us enjoy our stay. The service from Salim, Yuseff, and Sufiyan made our holiday memorable. We would happily return and recommend the hotel to others.

We had a lovely, quiet stay at Jaal Riad Resort in early to mid-November. The rooms were great and room service excellent. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Katour in the dining room, along with others, even tried teaching me a few words of Moroccan. Quite a few guests seemed to be there for short golf breaks, so that looks popular. The Souk is just a 10-minute taxi ride away, and our airport transfer took around 20 minutes. Highly recommended, and we'd definitely return.

I booked and paid a deposit for a day pass a week ahead, then arrived with my confirmation. At reception, the manager kept telling staff they no longer accepted day passes. It was confusing and unpleasant to have a confirmed booking questioned like that, and instead of feeling welcome, the whole start was stressful. They eventually found us a place, but there was no parasol. We asked several times without getting proper help. Then a staff member put one up for the people beside us, leaving us in the sun, and walked away without sorting ours out. The service staff weren't friendly or welcoming either. For a hotel day pass, I expected clear communication, basic comfort, and respectful service, but got none of those. I often visit Marrakech and have used many day passes at 4*+ hotels. This was the first time I'd experienced anything like it. Usually it's smooth, and guests are treated with more care and professionalism. It wasn't the relaxing day I expected, and I wouldn't recommend it.
