Ksar Char-Bagh

The restaurant service was pretty good, and the food was absolutely delicious. Breakfast was just as good. The grounds were beautiful and well kept, and the pool was peaceful, so it was easy to unwind there. It’s in a great spot away from the Medina’s bustle. Check-in was pleasant and efficient, and my room was large, cool, neat, and very different. There were a lot of smells in different parts of the room. I found it kind of funny, though some were noticeable and not always pleasant. You’d catch one and wonder, what is that? Service overall was just OK. Maybe that’s how the place is meant to feel, with staff giving you space. If you need something, you can go find someone and they’ll help.

They had our room ready even though our flight got us there at 7am, which made it easy to settle in. Airport transfers both ways are included, as is breakfast. Lunch and dinner prices were generally reasonable. Housekeeping and turndown happened at the right times around our dinner reservation, and the minibar’s water and soft drinks were topped up daily. The stay felt very personal. Sometimes it seemed like we were the only guests, and the manager regularly checked on us, even coming by our dinner table. The rest of the staff were always friendly and went out of their way to help. We booked through Hilton and the SLH program and got wonderful service. The gym could use a little more equipment, but given the space and the hotel’s retreat feel, we didn’t really miss using it. We spent our time relaxing instead. Would definitely stay here again.

Ksar Char-Bagh brings Moroccan architectural influences together with the service expectations of a recognized global hospitality collection, making it a distinctive luxury address in Marrakech.

The property is elegant, peaceful and beautiful throughout, but the staff are what made the experience unforgettable. Everyone went above and beyond during our visit, especially on the wedding day.
