They charged me 40Dh for three eggs, a regular coffee, not even espresso, and orange juice that I didn’t drink because it didn’t seem like real orange juice. That’s way over the normal price, a 4€ rip-off. I’m local and own a surf house where we serve food too, but we don’t scam people like this.

Supermarkets, a salon, and a currency exchange just opposite the hotel are close by. Marrakech Plaza and Carre Eden malls are both walkable, and there are plenty of restaurants to try, including one in the lobby. The location is right in the heart of Marrakech. The building is old and a lot of things are showing their age. The towel and linen colours made me question the cleanliness. When I arrived, the card machine wasn’t working, so I had to pay cash, which was a hassle in the city centre.

The rooms were just okay, and breakfast wasn't much to write home about. At night it was really noisy, with no sound insulation, and the room was so cold I hated having to sleep fully dressed.

The bed was super comfortable, and the bathroom was really nice, with a good shower and all the equipment we needed, even a hair dryer. The apartment was spacious, though not very clean: we found what felt like a whole ecosystem under the duvet. The cleaning ladies were noisy and made it difficult to get clean towels when we were down to one, but we sorted it out and were happy overall.

The location is well known, and everyone at the hotel made us feel welcome. A perfect hotel.
