Riad La Bigarade

We had a wonderful dinner here one evening and enjoyed breakfast on the terrace every morning. The staff were so helpful, and the service was excellent. The Riad is centrally placed in the Medina, close to shops and attractions. I’d definitely recommend staying here in Marrakech.

Fahd really made the difference for me. He arranged an airport pickup in the middle of the night, organized transport to and from my conference outside the city on several days, and quickly brought me something I’d left at the hotel. There was one issue with the spacious, clean room, but it was sorted promptly. The food deserves a mention too: breakfast and dinner were outstanding, genuinely home cooked, and better than most restaurants we tried. The riad is in the Medina’s alleyways, near the shopping and within walking distance of the square. Message Fahd on WhatsApp before you arrive and you’ll have a great experience.

Even with the Riad right in the middle of the Medina, it was peaceful and quiet. Fähhd and the staff were spectacular and took care of everything we needed during our stay last week. I’d highly recommend giving this place a try when you’re in Marrakesh.

The staff even met us to guide us through the Medina’s maze of streets, since Google Maps wasn’t very accurate. They welcomed us with Atai and cakes, and the room was spotless, comfortable, and nicely decorated, with an unbelievable eye for detail. We made the reservation that same day and they didn’t charge us extra. The owner was very responsive even though she was away from Morocco because of an emergency, which we found out later. When we checked out, they’d accidentally charged too much tax. They kept trying to reach us until we noticed, asked us to wait, then came running to refund the difference. We wouldn’t even have caught it ourselves. Such a positive experience. I’ll book here every time I’m in Marakesh.
