Being away from the main roads kept the noise down, though as a newcomer to Morocco I found walking back at night a little scary. The staff were good, but our room on the third floor wasn't what we'd hoped for. The twin beds were narrow, and the washroom smelled. After we complained, they sprayed some fragrance. There was no door lock, just a padlock, and the stairwell was VERY narrow with some steep steps. I wouldn't recommend it for older people.

We really liked the breakfast and how friendly and helpful the staff were. It's a simple, comfortable place in a quiet spot right in the town center. One small thing, some towel hooks would be handy 😉

That lovely rooftop veranda was a great place to enjoy mint tea, and we got a feel for a well-kept, updated Moroccan house. Our room felt more like a living space, reached through double doors from the open-air area shaded by green orange trees and decorated in M style. A friendly young staff member showed us in after a late arrival, and the travel fatigue seemed to lift for all of us. The cleanliness, helpful staff, and facilities suited our family holiday with two grown children. We also had Wi-Fi. With a little planning, local friendly assistance for getting around was easy to find.

Right in the center of the Medina but still quiet. The people were nice and friendly.

Those alleyways felt a bit unsettling at first, but the staff were helpful and breakfast was nice.
