The receptionist suggested some good restaurants and places for massages and hammams, which was helpful since we were two girls travelling alone in Marrakesh for the first time. The room and whole riad were very clean and peaceful, with none of the city's noise coming through. The location worked perfectly for us, with lots of shops nearby open late, even at 11 pm. Nice pool and terrace too. We had a great experience and I definitely recommend it!

The hotel itself was fine, but we had a frustrating mess with the tour we booked through them. We paid the hotel for a three-night, four-day tour, and confirmed more than once, including after booking, that it was three nights and four days. There was confusion about the different three-day and three-night options, but on the first day we found out the hotel had booked only two nights and three days. We paid more than market value, and the hotel wasn't apologetic at all. The tour company they booked, Miftah Tours, was garbage. Don't book tours through this hotel.

The rooms are nicely decorated and everything works as it should. Still, management didn't address a few small cultural misunderstandings. The room should have a lock. For breakfast, I expect at least bread and some hot water. At a hotel, I shouldn't have to heat the water myself. And if I want a metered taxi, I'll take one. If the manager calls an unmetered taxi for you, don't get in. It will cost four times as much.

The rooftop has a stunning view, and the market streets and Medina square are only about seven minutes away. From the first day, they welcomed us with fresh mint tea. Everyone was so kind and gentle, and our room was nice and clean. The housekeeper was even better, greeting us every day with a smile and real hospitality. Honestly, people like this are what represent the people of Morocco!
