The food and the team were the best parts of my stay. Lunch and dinner had plenty of tasty choices, while breakfast was fine but fairly basic. The receptionists were kind and helpful, and the waiters and other staff were friendly and professional. My room was cozy, attractive, and very clean, and the hotel itself seemed well cared for. I was less impressed by the spa and pools, which felt limited and lacked a wider range of facilities. It’s also quite a way from the city center, which may be inconvenient, though it could suit people looking for somewhere peaceful. I had a pleasant stay, and think it works well for three or four days.

I’ve just spent a week here, and since I was reading reviews before booking, I wanted to share what I found. The staff really made the place for me. Everyone was friendly and helpful, and the animation team were especially lovely, even if you don’t join in with their activities. The resort was clean throughout, and my spacious room was spotless, quiet at night, and cleaned to a high standard each day. The showers, bed, and pillows were all comfortable. There’s a free shuttle into Marrakesh several times a day, which is a real help and saves taxi fare. I also liked the smoothie bar, and there’s a nice spot for coffee or afternoon tea with good cakes. The buffet was consistently varied and tasty. I didn’t try the two bookable restaurants because I’d heard poor feedback. The heated pool was wonderful, and the main pools were good too. The weak point was drinks: the selection is limited, there’s no poolside service, and during meals you have to queue at the bar. There are only two bars in the resort, and just one is open at a time. The spa felt separate from the hotel, requires a buggy ride, and didn’t feel much like a proper spa. I had a very good week, but I wouldn’t return. To me, this is four stars at best, not five. The staff are what make it special.

Bahiya, who looked after our room each day, is the reason I’d want to come back. Her care was so thoughtful and quiet. We’d return to a room that felt welcoming, with every detail handled beautifully. A smile and the care she put into her work made us feel that we mattered as guests. The hotel itself was excellent too, from the food to the atmosphere and the chance to relax. Pickalbatros Hôtel Du Golf has visible luxury, but it’s the people who give it its warmth. This felt like hospitality with heart, not just All-Inclusive. Thank you, Bahiya 🤍

We stayed in February 2026 at Pickalbatros Hotel du Golf. It was a pleasant visit, but I’d put the resort at a strong four stars, perhaps a high three, rather than at the five-star level advertised. If you’re expecting the luxury of a Four Seasons, Fairmont, or Le Méridien, you may be disappointed. With realistic expectations, it’s a decent all-inclusive with good food and reasonable facilities. The buffets were a highlight, with lots to choose from, including grilled food, tagines, and a pasta station. The Moroccan wine was tasty, though drink queues could get long. We booked the Mediterranean restaurant, a short shuttle ride away, and found it odd that they served only water and soda, with no wine, beer, tea, or coffee. February nights can be cold, and the two main pools felt quite chilly during the day. The heated pool was a lifesaver. There was ping-pong and archery by the pools, plus some games run by the Entertainment Team. I also liked that the music around the pool stayed at a lower volume. The grounds and rooms were modern enough, clean, and well maintained. My bedroom was comfortable, with thick doors that kept it quiet at night. Tea and bottled water were replenished daily, but I wished the room had an ironing board and coffee maker. I’d seen older reviews mention construction, but didn’t notice any noise or activity during my stay. Staff service varied. Some people were warm and attentive, while others barely made eye contact and seemed to find guests inconvenient. I also tried several times to get small bills at the Front Desk so I could tip staff, but they never seemed to have any. All in all, we enjoyed our stay. It’s a clean, well-kept resort with good food and decent amenities, as long as you don’t expect true five-star luxury.

The food and room comfort were what mattered most to us, and both were very good. Each buffet meal had a big selection of fresh, tasty food. The Italian à la carte was good, while the Mediterranean one was just okay. The room was clean and comfortable, and housekeeping did an excellent job. We also liked how friendly the staff were. Cleaners and waiters alike greeted us with a smile. Since we wanted to stay outside the city, the free shuttle there and back was handy. The included gym was decent and had plenty of machines, and there’s also an indoor pool, though it needs refurbishment. We didn’t visit the Spa. A couple of small issues: the detergent smell in the otherwise clean lobby and cafe could be overpowering, and our shower curtain left a gap at the back, so water pooled behind the shower. For the price, though, Hotel du Golf was great value and I’d recommend it.
