Pure House Marrakech

We chose Pure House Riad to get some calm while staying in the busy Medina, and it delivered. Outside, the area can feel crowded, dusty, and overwhelming. Inside, there’s a peaceful atmosphere, soft jazz, open air, lush greenery, and tasteful minimalist decor. The glowing reviews were accurate. Our third-floor room, “I,” was spotless, clean, and comfortable. The shower was spacious, with hot water and good pressure. We had plenty of towels and robes, plus a hairdryer and a large mirror. There are quite a few stairs, though, so keep that in mind if mobility is an issue. The terrace has a small pool and a lovely view of the Atlas Mountains. My husband has impaired vision and fell into the shallow pool on our arrival day. The night auditor, Abdul, jumped in to help him and even retrieved his glasses from the bottom. Ghizlaine and Naima brought towels and washed his clothes that same day. The staff really went the extra mile to make sure we enjoyed our stay. The food and breakfast also felt like something from a luxury restaurant. Grace, the manager, was attentive and helpful, including with arranging transportation. We’d highly recommend the riad if you want a restful stay in the Medina. The hotel can arrange a porter for luggage, since taxis can’t enter the Medina. Tuk-tuks are available there for anyone with mobility issues.

The breakfasts were lovely, home cooked, and beautifully presented, and the staff were amazing. We were new to Marrakech and didn’t know what to expect, but this Riad has a peaceful, chilled vibe just off the beaten track. It’s a five minute walk to the souk, with everything nearby, so it works well for a short break. The rooms are beautifully kept and laid out. I’d stay again. My only small issue was that the wardrobe area could use more lighting.

We spent five nights at Pure House, a beautiful and quiet riad that felt like an oasis away from the bustle. The main square, Jemaa El-Fnaa, is just a 10 minute walk away. Breakfast each morning had a lovely spread of Moroccan food. The interiors were stunning, the rooms cozy, and the cleaning was to a high standard. Sara, Ahmed, Abdul, and the rest of the staff went above and beyond for us. I can’t recommend it enough.

I felt at ease at Pure House Marrakech from the moment Sara welcomed me. She was warm and attentive, and made everything feel personal and easy. The other staff were thoughtful and friendly too, always there when needed without hovering. The rooms were very large and clean, with stylish modern artwork around the riad. Breakfast by the plunge pool in the central courtyard was peaceful, homely, and tasty. After a day in the medina, the spacious, calm rooftop was a great place to unwind. The hospitality, comfort, and tranquility make this a place I’d recommend. Try the massage too.
