Riad 48 Spa Resort

My wife and I spent three nights at Riad 48 and had a wonderful time. The team were courteous, warm and ready to help, always with a smile. The food was very good and carefully prepared, with satisfying, delicious breakfasts that added to the comfort of our stay. The rooms were well equipped and the accommodation was clean, comfortable and beautifully maintained. It was a welcoming, peaceful place to unwind after Marrakech's busy streets, and we felt at home. We'd happily recommend it to couples and other travelers looking for an authentic, quiet riad experience, and would consider staying again.

We felt very safe in the area, even coming back late at night, and would definitely stay again. The riad is beautifully decorated and clean, and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The chef was wonderful, and some of our best meals of the whole trip were here. We also enjoyed the spa. It's inside the Old City near the wall, so taxis can reach it easily and evenings are quieter. The main market is about a 15 minute walk away. They can arrange transport and add the charges to your bill, so you don't have to worry about having cash for the ride. Highly recommend.

Our family loved staying at Riad48. It was spotless and beautifully kept, and the team's kindness made us feel at home right away. They're adding a pool and doing some light renovation work. Honestly, it already feels perfect, and it's lovely to see them caring for the traditional riad's character while improving it. Every Marrakech visitor should experience a place like this, and support authentic family-run heritage riads that make the city special.

After five days at Riad 48 and Spa, I'd definitely return if we visit Marrakesh again. At first, walking through the crowded, narrow old city streets felt a bit daunting to us as city dwellers, but we got used to the pace of life there. Coming into the riad helped too: inside, it feels modern and has all the trimmings of a really good hotel. The owner Maxime, his lovely wife and the attentive, helpful staff made our stay pleasant and were ready to deal with our requests. Breakfast changed from day to day, with excellent variety, and lunch and dinner are also available if you don't want to eat out.
