Riad Al-Bushra

Breakfast on the roof terrace comes with lovely views over the city and even the Atlas Mountains. The rooms each have their own decor and character, and the place is one to enjoy. Riad Al-Bushra sits in the old Medina, just a short distance from the souks and market, yet makes a perfect hideaway. Ask owners Gary and Steve about an airport transfer, it could save a lot of time and money.

Breakfast was wonderful and set us up for the day, and Gary and Steve pointed us to great rooftop restaurants about a five-minute walk away. My sister and I had a fantastic five days here. It was my first trip to Marrakech, but definitely won’t be my last. The hosts welcomed us warmly and were great throughout. The riad is beautiful, colourful, and authentically decorated, just like the photos. I was taken with it the whole stay. Our room was spotless and very comfortable, and so was the rest of the place. I’m planning to return with my husband this year, and wouldn’t want to stay anywhere else.

Gary and Fatiha were wonderful hosts at this calm, peaceful retreat. It’s just steps from the souks and Jemaa el-Fnaa, and was probably our favourite riad of the whole Moroccan trip. Highly recommend.

The hosts are attentive and know their stuff. Though it’s only yards from the busy Medina souks, the place feels quiet and restful. There’s a pool for a dip and a terrace where you can have breakfast in the sun.
