Riad Sidi Omar

The room has a distinctive character, but sharing it is best suited to people who know each other very well. The riad is close to the main street and the Medina. It may be better to contact them directly at least the first time so you can find the place.

The riad felt like a real home, and the beautiful place and family were the best part of my trip. Kareema welcomed me so warmly, and Omar was lovely and caring when I met him that evening. Since I was fasting, they made sure I had food very early and cooked for me again in the evening. Omar also took me to a place for quad biking, which was incredible. I stayed four nights and loved it. If you're going anywhere, you need to go here. Mashallah.

Kareema was a lovely host, and the staff were fantastic. They made breakfast each morning and even showed us around nearby markets and good places to eat. The room was clean, felt safe, and suited what we needed. We stayed three nights last week and really liked the place. The only letdown was the mouldy shower curtain.

We had the best Moroccan breakfast every morning, and Samira and Karima were such congenial hosts, always happy to sit with us, tell stories, and share tips. The Riad is peaceful, humble, and homey, and Omar and his family treated us like their own. He welcomed us late at night after our flight was delayed, helped us in every way he could, and even arranged free transport back to the airport. Everyone was respectful and amazing.
