The location is handy, near the city center but tucked along a side street, so it stays quiet. Our room was nice, though a little humid, and we had to leave the bathroom fan on. The reception staff were very friendly and helped us find good places to shop for spices and leather goods.

The staff were really friendly and helpful, and I slept well even though my room was a bit small. It’s a nice riad in a fairly central spot, and breakfast was good and filling. The club sandwich let things down for me, though, because it had cheap American cheese in it.

The staff were friendly, but the food was below average. The riad was much smaller than I expected, and the rooms felt very humid. Even though they cleaned the floors daily, I still found them dirty.

The one real plus for us was being close to Jemaa el-Fnaa. On our last night, guests were loud until 1 AM, and reception did nothing despite several complaints. Noise carries everywhere in this tiny riad: conversations, footsteps, water, and the cleaners in the morning. The old metal door locks and loose parts bang loudly whenever someone opens or shuts a door, and we kept hearing people coming and going, especially at night. Humidity was another major issue. The air felt so heavy that the AC had to stay on. The rooms are extremely small, and some don’t have proper windows, so you can’t tell whether it’s day or night. Our bathroom was dirty and had bugs, including a cockroach. Guests next door even asked to change rooms after finding a cockroach in their bathroom. The riad looks good in the shared hallway areas shown in the photos, but the rooms were dirty, marked with humidity stains, and nothing like what was advertised online. The rooftop was much smaller than I expected, and its walls block almost all the city view shown in the pictures. Breakfast was mostly bread, jam, sugar, and store-bought juice. Honestly, you’re better off having a decent breakfast at a restaurant for 30-40 MAD. If you’re looking for a peaceful, clean, comfortable stay, I wouldn’t recommend it. The location alone doesn’t make up for all these problems.

There were bugs in the room, and the walls were damp.
