The courtyard pool area was surprisingly quiet, and there’s also a rooftop with loungers, tables, and chairs. I had a massage arranged onsite and dinner made to my request, plus plenty of great photos. Everything about my stay in October 2017 was positive, and I was extremely satisfied. I found Riad al Assala through Google and can confirm the online reviews, they do a great job looking after guests. I’d happily return on my next trip to Marrakech. If you’re visiting Marrakech, I’d choose a riad over a standard corporate hotel. You’ll thank me later.

The location was perfect for getting around, and breakfast was great. Everyone on staff was extremely friendly and helpful, and the rooms were great overall. The curtains beside the bed didn’t give much privacy, though, and the frosted bathroom window was completely see-through. We’d stay again!

The Medina location is great, and the people are kind. They’ll welcome you in French, English, or Arabic. The place is really nice, though its maintenance could be better. They don’t take credit cards, so bring cash.

Such a beautiful riad. We only got to stay one night, but Ahmed, if I’ve got the spelling right, gave us possibly the warmest welcome I’ve ever had. 10/10.

A charming patio and turbo-friendly staff, in a perfect spot right by the main square. Birds live in the patio and wake you up each morning. If you want to be near nature while staying in the middle of a noisy city, this is the place. Just don’t expect a large swimming pool, we didn’t 🙂. Highly recommend it.
