Riad Bab Taghzout Marrakech

We felt at home here and didn't want to leave. The location made it easy to reach the souks and main sights, but the riad was quiet enough to unwind after exploring. Breakfast on the rooftop was a morning highlight, with fresh fruit, warm bread, and coffee. Our room was spotless and charming, and the staff were kind and attentive, helping with taxis and restaurant suggestions and making delicious mint tea. Inside the busy Medina, it felt like a peaceful oasis, with traditional Moroccan decor, calming music, and orange blossom in the air. I can't recommend it highly enough for a Marrakech visit.

The riad looks just as pretty as in the pictures, especially in the evenings, and it smells lovely throughout. Abdul was incredibly helpful when I had to switch riads because one of my trips was cancelled, even though I was supposed to stay there for three days. It was raining during my transfer, and he spoke with my taxi driver to make sure I got there safely.

We stayed for two nights on my first trip to Morocco, and the staff were so friendly that we'd love to come back. When we arrived, they confirmed that Booking.com had already received our room payment and explained the city tax, which put us at ease. Our room was thoroughly cleaned each day, and the shower had good pressure and plenty of hot water. We also found a lovely local restaurant and a hammam nearby. Thanks for the wonderful hospitality!

Abdull is brilliant, so welcoming and friendly! We loved the decor and the RIAD itself. Our first dinner was delicious, and the tagine with couscous may have been the best we've had in Marrakesh. Highly recommend!
