Riad Belle Époque

The rooftop terrace is gorgeous, and they even served us breakfast up there. The staff were kind, accommodating, and a joy to be around. Breakfast was great and changed each day, and whenever we asked for mint tea, they made it fresh. There's also a beautiful fireplace. We had a wonderful stay, and I hope to return.

Our family booked two rooms for three nights and had a really good experience. There were four receptionists taking turns, and they were excellent, always checking if they could help. The kitchen staff were lovely too, always smiling and greeting us. Everyone was easy to ask for suggestions about where to go. Just remember that extras like lunch and tours have to be paid in cash at checkout. We had trouble with that, although the room reservation itself can be paid by credit card. Breakfast was included and lovely, with hot drinks, juice, turkey slices, eggs on the first day, crepes on the second, croissants, bread, and jam. There was plenty, and they could refill hot drinks. We had an early flight on our last morning, so they packed each of us a bottle of water, juice, an apple, and a croissant to take along. On the second day we were too lazy to go out for lunch, so we had sandwiches and omelettes at the riad, then paid for them at checkout. They also helped us order Pizza hut takeaway on our last night. The wifi was free and worked okay, though it wasn't fast. One night it slowed right down, but the receptionist reset it quickly. There's a small pool for a quick dip after a long day, but it's not for proper swimming, and the water overflowed when we played around too much. The location was great: about a five-minute walk to nearby souks and five to ten minutes to Jema el Fnna. We walked everywhere from the riad. Hospitality: 11/10. Food: 10/10. Facilities: 8/10. 😊

I stayed at Riad Belle Epoque many years ago and had a great visit. Glad to see it's still going strong, it deserves all the positive reviews.

I was nervous at first when I walked down an alley where I’d been told taxis couldn't go. Once I got through it and into the Riad, I felt fine. They told me it was safe and that someone could walk with me to the taxi pickup whenever I wanted, at any time of day. By the second day, walking through the alley didn't bother me. The Riad is beautiful, and I already miss it. Every staff member was helpful and smiling. Special thanks to Mohamed, Rahhal, Abdulhak, Fatima and Khudija. They made it feel like home.
