We booked three nights but left after just one because of several serious problems. The place was in poor condition from the moment we arrived, well below what was advertised. Don't trust the photos on Google. I attached a photo of the entrance to this supposedly 4-star riad. After checking in and going out to explore, we got back around 7:00 pm and waited over 30 minutes in a dead-end street with no response. An elderly neighbor eventually let us in, not a staff member. The next morning staff said they hadn't known the bell was broken, which wasn't credible. There was no proper reception or reliable access. Our room was freezing and the air conditioning didn't work. Staff gave us a small portable heater instead of fixing it, but it wasn't nearly enough. There was no hot water during our stay, and the in-room safe didn't work either. Rather than repair it, they gave us a portable safety box, which defeats the point of having a fixed safe in the room. When we raised the problems, staff kept dismissing them, saying the hot water had worked the day before or that our room was far from the tank. They were just as dismissive about the broken AC, and none of the issues were properly resolved. The poor condition, missing basic amenities, unreliable access, and attitude from staff fall far short of any reasonable 4-star standard. It wasn't worth the price, and I wish I could give zero stars.

Such a quiet area, with lovely, helpful hosts and an amazing breakfast. I really recommend staying here. The rooms can get a bit cold in winter, though.

The staff were so warm and thoughtful, and we loved all three Achmeds working there. They made us feel genuinely welcome. The riad is beautiful, and we'd love to come back one day.

After busy days around the old town and souks, we loved coming back to the calm atmosphere here. My wife and I felt at home right away. The staff were welcoming and accommodating, and breakfast was beautifully presented. We hired an English guide through the Riad, and he was excellent. We brought our 7month old, who loved it too. They have a travel crib, and we'd definitely recommend the Riad.

We spent two nights here with our 7M old and had a lovely stay. It's quiet and clean, with great showers, and close enough to walk to the main square. The staff were kind and accommodating, answered all our questions, smiled at our son, and booked services and a walking tour for us. Essaid was amazing too. We highly recommend staying here and would come back to Marrakech.
