We spent three weeks at Riad Berenssi, using it as a base for day trips beyond Marrakech. It was easy to get around: cars can pull right up to the door, and museums, souks, and Jemma’a al Fna’a (Town Center) are all walkable. The manager and staff helped with our needs, arranging transport and guides as we explored this part of Morocco. We often ate dinner at the riad because the meals were so good. Our room was quiet, clean, and roomy enough for two, with reliable hot water and AC and very comfortable beds. We also loved the heated pool and rooftop terrace. A wonderful place to stay, and one we highly recommend.

Lovely place, and the staff were really helpful. The sunny roof terrace was a nice bonus. Getting back to the main town takes about 20 minutes on foot, through a very deprived area.

Hassan and the ladies made us feel so welcome and were very accommodating. After four days, I was genuinely sad to leave such a beautiful place with such lovely hospitality.

I made a mistake with my reservation and reported it just two minutes after booking, but was told those two minutes meant the room could no longer be booked by someone else. I lost 75 Euros over that. It was 8pm in low season, so I really doubt the room would have been taken. When I tried to sort it out, the owner never replied to my message on the France WhatsApp number, and the manager left my message on read. I eventually reached the receptionist, who said he had no tools for handling online reservations. The woman who finally answered the phone was rude and acted like she was doing me a favor. I was on vacation and having a great time, and this was the last conversation I wanted. I've travelled across several countries many times, but this made me feel like I was just a transaction. If you offer a WhatsApp number, please answer it, and give your team what they need to help customers. Don't expect replies after 8pm. If you take reservations around the clock, at least try to respond within 12 hours. Come on, it's 2025. I hope things improve, and I'm willing to change this review if you prove me wrong. Have a good day.
