Riad Clémentine

Ale was always smiling, helpful, and a pleasure to chat with. The rest of the staff were friendly too, and happy to help with advice, service, or booking taxis. I spent four nights at Theo's wonderful Riad. The rooms were comfortable, clean, and traditionally styled, and the riad itself is beautiful. Breakfast was very nice, with a good variety of food. I’d definitely recommend staying here.

Fatiha made our mornings: she greeted us in French and Arabic, then brought breakfast with breads, pancakes, jams and spreads, yogurt, fresh fruit, orange juice, granola, eggs cooked how we wanted, and coffee just the way we asked. When my throat hurt, she even brought me fresh lemon, honey, and hot water. She was fantastic and always handled our questions. We stayed in room 6 upstairs by the pool. It’s huge and bright, with beautiful windows and a sunken bathtub that’s hard to leave, though it might be difficult to get in and out of if you have mobility issues. The bathroom products smelled delicious. The pool is on the second floor, while rooms 3, 4, 5, and 6 are there too. The top floor has loungers, umbrellas, and the most private room, number 7. Downstairs, orange and lemon trees surround the tables where you can eat breakfast or dinner; there’s also a fountain, rooms 1, 2, and 8, plus the kitchen and indoor spaces for colder weather. When you enter, the place feels like a five-star hotel lobby and smells of orange blossom. I picked this riad from all the options in Marrakesh because of its second-floor pool and its walkable distance to Jardin Majorelle and the medina shops. It’s easy to find just off the main rue el Gza, without all the twists and turns some riads have.

The rooms were gorgeous, just the right size, and kept spotless. We ate breakfast, lunch, and dinner at the Riad regularly, and enjoyed all three, along with the lovely wine selection. Antoine was attentive and welcoming, and Morad was amazing. It’s beautiful and centrally located, yet coming back feels like stepping into a stunning oasis. Thanks to Antoine and everyone at Riad Clementime. We’ll be back, and highly recommend it.

Mohammed and Morad were especially wonderful, always there with a smile whenever we needed anything. They even let us check out very late, while check-in was quick and easy. Riad Clémentine is a magnificent place for a relaxing Marrakech break, with a lovely pool and fountain area. The breakfasts and the dinner we had there were just as impressive as the service. I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a great stay in the Medina.
