Khalid was the highlight, greeting us warmly and sharing loads of useful information. The location is excellent, set just off the bustling medina, so it’s peaceful and airy but still an easy walk anywhere in the walled city. It’s 2km and 50MAD from the train station, and a little farther from the airport. It had been some years since I’d visited Marrakesh, and we found this Riad on booking.com. The rooms are clean and fair value, though they could use a little TLC. I’d stay again, probably between November and April when it’s cooler.

I only spent two nights here, but I enjoyed my stay. The host was friendly and polite, and both the road in and the rooms were clean. Breakfast was very good and tasty. I’ve stayed in several riads across Marrakech and Morocco, and I’d put this one in my top two. I’d recommend it to others.

We had breakfast on the terrace both mornings, and there was plenty of delicious food. Our room was spacious, clean, and nicely decorated. The Riad D'ari is right in the middle of the hustle and bustle, with the main attractions an easy walk away. The staff were so friendly and helpful, and made our trip feel special. We had a lovely time and would highly recommend staying here.
