Riad Dar Al Ghali De Marrakech

The traditional hammam was relaxing and refreshing, and the Moroccan food was delicious, full of flavor, and beautifully presented. We were two friends staying at Riyadh and had an amazing time. The Riad was peaceful and lovely, with gorgeous Moroccan decor that made us feel relaxed right away. Warm hospitality and a great atmosphere made it an unforgettable stay.

The riad was spotless and peaceful, just a five-minute walk from Jemaa el-Fna. Every small detail and kind gesture made the stay feel special. When we got lost among Marrakech’s winding streets, Omar quickly arranged for someone to guide us back. The team welcomed us with open arms, especially Omar and Hisham. They also surprised us with a lovely celebration for our son’s first birthday, including a cake and heartfelt wishes. We’ll always remember it. We can’t wait to return and are already telling everyone we know about this place.

The staff are absolutely lovely, which goes a long way because the accommodation is very basic. The rooms are tiny and the bathroom had a bit of a smell, though we had no cleanliness problems. There’s a nice roof terrace, and the riad is charming and very authentic, in a market area that gave us a great sense of real Marrakech. That experience shouldn’t be missed. We felt very safe as an all-female group, day and night. Some of the owner’s pictures on here aren’t of this riad.

The food was amazing, and the staff were friendly, but I wasn’t collected after a long bus ride as the hotel was supposed to arrange. I had to find my way alone at night and hire a baggage carrier with a cart. When I arrived, they hurried me to eat because the kitchen was about to close. My bedroom was tiny and mostly clean, though there were blonde hairs stuck to a cushion and the toilet wasn’t clean. I didn’t complain because the other places on my trip had been nightmarish. I spent my last night in Marrakech here, after booking through a French travel agency. The hotel is down a dark, narrow alley that’s hard to find.
