We booked and paid for full board through booking.com because that was what the listing advertised. When we arrived, they said full board wasn’t available and told us we’d have to cancel. They let us cancel for free, then gave us a new price that included breakfast. The price changed again the next day, so we decided to leave and find somewhere else. There wasn’t even drinking water available. We were traveling with small children, including a child with special needs, and were really disappointed.

We arrived with all our bags after a long trip, only to be told we had no booking. We had reserved the room two weeks earlier, paid in advance, and clearly showed the reference. At first the guard denied the booking; later they changed their story and said it was for a month later. They didn’t try to work with us or find a solution, so we had to leave the city without getting to experience it. I absolutely can’t recommend booking here. We tried calling the owner two days before and again the day before, but got no answer.

We planned to spend New Year’s in Marrakech and had a confirmed, paid stay at Villa Arabic House. When we arrived, they wouldn’t let us in. The local police got involved, and there’s now an active case against the owner, who was very rude and still hasn’t refunded us. We ended up driving for several more hours to find somewhere to stay because places were full or couldn’t fit our group. We lost a couple thousand dollars. It was a shocking disaster. I’m sure the reviews are fabricated. For anyone considering a stay, I think the pictures are fake, and there’s a lot of work happening in that area. The booking agent’s name is ILIASS, for anyone who doubts this. Good luck!
