Riad Dar Massai

Nordin really helped make our Marrakech trip better. He was always kind and helpful, and had great advice on places to explore. His service was outstanding, and we’re very grateful for everything he did for us.

The only downside was the location right beside the mosque. The prayer call at 4:50 in the morning will definitely wake you up 😅. Otherwise, it’s a very nice, delicate Riad, with a big clean room and great hospitality.

Adam welcomed us with traditional Moroccan tea and useful ideas for places to visit, plus some interesting history about the Kasbah area. From the moment we arrived at Riad Dar Massai, we felt at ease. It’s a charming, spotlessly clean place, with a lovely atmosphere. Our spacious room was clean and gave us plenty of privacy. When it was hot during the day, we enjoyed relaxing at the riad, whether swimming or spending time on the rooftop. The location is ideal, tucked away from Marrakech’s hustle and bustle but easy to find in the Kasbah. Jemaa el-Fnaa and other major tourist sites are only a short 12-minute walk away. Everyone on staff was kind and helpful, and the breakfasts were amazing each morning. If we come back to Marrakech, we’ll stay at Riad Dar Massai again.

Adam and Noureddine took such good care of us during our first visit to Marrakesh. We spent four days at Riad Dar Massai over the year-end break and enjoyed it thoroughly. Since the Kasbah, about a five-minute walk from the Riad, can be confusing for first-time visitors, Adam guided us there. The Riad is quiet and safe, yet just a short walk from the Palaces and busy centre. It also worked well for day tours, with pickup points 5-10 minutes away. The rooms were spacious and impeccably clean. The decor throughout is simple but elegant, with African themes and cosy corners, including a fireplace. We particularly liked the ground-floor sitting areas beside the pool and the beautiful terrace with relaxed seating. We had a delicious three-course meal on the first night, when we had the Riad to ourselves, and the food and service were exceptional. For New Year’s Eve, the staff put on a special dinner and invited guests from nearby Riads. The space was beautifully lit and decorated, and staff sang and danced during the midnight celebrations.
