Riad Dar Zaman

The staff made this stay special. Hassan welcomed us warmly, and Hamza was a real gem: kind, attentive, and wonderful at hospitality. We enjoyed a delicious dinner in a cosy room, especially with the fireplace going in January. Breakfast was just as good, with fresh homemade products. Our room opened onto the lovely rooftop terrace, which was a highlight. It’s on the small side, though that was fine since we travelled light; with lots of luggage it could feel cramped. The location is excellent, just outside the medina and a few minutes’ walk from everything we wanted to explore. We arrived early and were given our room straight away. After checkout, leaving our bags until our evening flight was no trouble either. We really enjoyed our stay at Riad Dar Zaman and would happily return.

Karima’s cooking class was great fun, and Hassane helped a lot with the translation. We had a lovely stay at Riad Dar Zaman. Peter and the whole team made us feel at home, and returning to the peaceful oasis of Dar Zaman after a busy day in Marrakesh was a real pleasure. We’d definitely recommend it to anyone staying in the city.

The staff were incredibly kind and professional, and helped with tips, suggestions, and even mapping out my adventure. The place was lovely too, clean, tidy, spacious, and comfortable. I had dinner on my first night and also took the cooking class, and loved the food. Everything about my stay at Dar Zaman was fantastic. I’d absolutely recommend it and stay again.

The rooftop was a lovely place to relax, and we really enjoyed breakfast. The Riad is close to the action without being right by the busy central souks, which suited us perfectly. It felt quiet and safe. Peter and his staff were helpful and attentive, and communication before we arrived was fantastic. They helped coordinate our diets and airport transport. We had a really pleasant stay and would come back.
