Riad Elite

For a short weekend or overnight stay, this is decent value. The owner is very nice, and breakfast was good. The Riad is in a great spot, and the room was comfortable, with a firm but comfortable bed. The family room has a pleasant rooftop space, though the air conditioning leaves one end cool and the other hot. A water pump also switches on noisily during the night. The room could use some TLC, especially the bathroom. A new toilet seat and shower holder would help.

Amine deserves a special mention. He was incredibly kind and looked after us throughout the stay. We had beautiful rooms with daily room service, and breakfast was included and excellent. I had an amazing time at this Riad and would highly recommend it.

Riad elite was a lovely place to stay. The staff were great and breakfast came with the stay. We could walk to everything in the medina, but the location was far enough away to feel relaxed and safe. I’d recommend it.

We booked a deluxe room, but after the employee took our passports and checked us in, he said it wasn’t available. It was too late to leave by then. They put us in two windowless rooms far apart, both smelling of mold and feeling like a grave. My friend got sick after one night, and we were still charged the full deluxe price. We saw that our room had gone to other customers who were more numerous and had paid more. The manager is very clever about negotiating and arguing to get her money, with zero concern or empathy for guests. It feels like a clever business. The place is a 40 minute walk from the main square, and the street feels unsafe. The bad reviews are true. Be careful and stay away.
