We could get into the centre on foot in just a few minutes, with plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. The riad’s shared hall is beautiful and a nice spot to relax or have breakfast, while the terrace is good for sunbathing and reading. Mohamed and his family were welcoming and helpful; he arranged a few trips for us and cooked the best meals we had in Marrakech. The lamb tagine was incredible, slow-cooked all day. Rooms upstairs may be a better choice, since the ground-floor ones pick up a little more noise from other guests. Even so, it’s a very quiet place.

The only real plus was the polite, friendly person in charge. The ground-floor room itself was dark, and we couldn’t open the doors or windows because they faced the common area. People ate breakfast and sat talking there at other times, and the kitchen next door was noisy. There was loud music too, from a speaker or instruments. Worse, the toilet window had a gap, so people at the tables outside could get a clear view while you showered or changed. Don’t book a ground-floor room.

One of our favorite moments was Mohamed and his brother Ali performing for the guests one evening. Mohamed also cooked the best food we had on our whole trip and made us feel really looked after. He was so helpful and made us comfortable throughout our first visit to Marrakech. The riad is only a few minutes from the Medina markets, and I’m so glad my friend and I stayed at Riad Eurphorbe. Thanks, Mohamed, for the hospitality. Make sure to book Riad Eurphorbe if you’re visiting Marrakech.

We had to leave really early to catch the bus, and Moha kindly made breakfast for us at 6:30. Thanks so much for that! We spent some time playing instruments with Ali on the beautiful terrace, and Mohamed was so helpful and kind when we checked in. The room was nice and spacious, and we had a lovely two-night stay.

The brothers were so welcoming, and this is a lovely, romantic riad for a couple. Everything was clean, the breakfast was great, and the swimming pool was amazing. My only suggestions would be to provide a clearer city map and some tips for tourists when they arrive. The place is under new management.
