The good parts first: Hamza welcomed us warmly late at night after our delayed flight, and communication during the stay was good. Breakfast was great, with an amazing egg and a good selection of fresh bread. The location is excellent. You take a short walk from the car drop-off, and it looked very safe in the evening. The Superior room on the second floor had several problems. The shelves sloped down, so anything stored there could fall. The toilet seat cover wasn't attached, though it was fixed the next day. The sheets looked heavily worn, red at the edges and nearly white in the middle. I asked for a change and got a much better set. The room was dusty, and the shower wasn't fixed to the wall, which made washing my hair one-handed difficult. Some things weren't the hotel's fault, but they still affected the feel of the stay. One evening, guests talked and laughed loudly, even though there's a terrace for that. At breakfast with my mother, a guest opened his room door in his underwear, facing the ground-floor dining area. That's the vibe.

As a woman traveling alone, I felt safe here, and this was one of my best experiences since I began traveling on my own in 2010. I enjoyed Morocco and was glad I chose the Riad. It was clean and nicely decorated, with a comfortable bed and a cozy room. Breakfast was generous, and the staff were friendly. Hamza, who looks after things, was especially helpful and cheerful. His suggestions led me to some good choices for things to do during my stay. I hope the Riad keeps welcoming guests.

The traditional Moroccan feel made Riad Belko cozy and welcoming, and it was well placed for getting around and reaching attractions. I really enjoyed my stay and would recommend it to anyone visiting Marrakech.

Hamza looked after us throughout our stay, always ready to help with a smile and quick response whenever we needed anything. His warm welcome and attention meant a lot. The Riad felt spotless and authentic, and the location was great. It really felt like being part of a family, and I highly recommend it.

I felt unsafe, and management was terrible. There was nobody at reception, leaving me locked outside for ages. A terrible hotel, and I wouldn't stay here again.
