We had a lovely breakfast and enjoyed the little pool on the terrace. The riad is well looked after, and the service was attentive throughout. It’s in a safe-feeling spot, just a minute from Spice Square and very close to the main square. I’d happily come back.

I booked through Booking.com for a trip last March. COVID meant our flights were canceled and travel to Morocco wasn’t possible. At first the riad seemed fine about refunding me, but they kept putting it off and never sent the money back. Booking.com also washed its hands of the issue. I wouldn’t trust them. Thanks for the warning.

The staff were really capable, and the atmosphere was lovely. It’s in Mellah, a great part of Marrakech, about five minutes from Djemaa el Fna. There’s also a small pool up on the terrace. A fantastic riad.

We had a wonderful stay. Our room looked out over the terrace, which has a pool and potted plants that could use a good watering. The beds were very comfortable, and both breakfast and the traditional dinner were excellent. Laila and Mohammed gave us such a warm welcome. The riad has five bedrooms, including one suite, and sits in the medina right by the tinsmiths' square in Mellah. It’s surrounded by the spice market in the old Jewish quarter, with incredible smells, and there are stork nests nearby. Absolutely beautiful. Just be aware it isn’t suitable for people with reduced mobility.
