Riad Kenzo

We loved staying at Riad Kenzo during our trip to Marrakesh. The food was fantastic, especially the couscous tajine, which was the best we had on the trip. Breakfast was really good every morning, and the rooftop, rooms, and rest of the building were great. Everything worked out so well for us. Highly recommend.

The homemade traditional dinner was excellent, and breakfast had a generous variety with different things each morning. We also booked the hammam and massage there, which was magnificent, and really enjoyed the rooftop. The Medina location made it easy to explore the city and its attractions, and it was near the Getyourguide excursion pickup point. Ayoub and Mohammed were extremely friendly and helpful, offering lots of advice and conversation that helped us learn more about the city and country. I absolutely recommend this riad.

The rooms are small, but clean, and the location is very good. Breakfast was a bit less than we expected, though still better than nothing. The host was always ready to help. If you love the riad’s original architecture, you’ll like it. It isn’t newly built, which makes it more unique. The door locks feel more decorative, but they do have cameras.

Riad Kenzo is a calm little oasis away from the bustle of Rue Sid Abd El Aziz and the city, while still being close to the souks, key sights, and some good places to eat. My wife and I stayed for a week and loved our spacious, comfortable room. The temperature stayed just right whether it was hot or cool outside, and we honestly didn’t want to leave. The staff were friendly and helpful, with someone always around. Breakfast was good and set us up for the day, though we didn’t eat dinner at the riad. It also has an alcohol licence, so being able to have wine after a long day of sightseeing was a real bonus. I’d happily stay here again on another visit to Marrakech.
