Riad Kniza

The staff welcomed us with such lovely smiles and hospitality, and breakfast could be brought to the room or served on the rooftop. Riad Kniza was the accommodation dream for this trip. It feels like a palace, with gorgeous design and artisan work across the doors, windows, pillars, and ceilings. I’d come back to Marrakech and stay here again.

Mr. Bouskari gave us a personal touch by taking us to see his museum and store privately. We also tried the small but wonderful hammam, and dinner was a real highlight, with the best tagines we had anywhere in Marrakesh. We stayed three days with family. Bab Doukalla is nearby, making arrivals and departures easy, and the walk through the lively souks to Jemaa el-Fnaa took about 15 minutes. Staff were welcoming, courteous, and attentive to every detail. Each morning they served a sumptuous breakfast right at our table. Highly recommended.

The rooftop breakfast was massive, traditional, and beautifully laid out. We had a comfortable room with good air conditioning, a sofa bed downstairs, and a large upstairs bed with an en suite. The staff we met were all friendly, efficient, and really helpful. From the drop-off, it was only a couple of minutes on foot inside the medina walls. Once there, the riad felt like an oasis from the busy Marrakesh streets. The owner specially opened the art gallery for us, so don’t miss it. We’d definitely stay here again.

The room was massive, breakfast was delicious, and the staff were very friendly. There’s a car park a convenient five-minute walk away. Riad Kniza is perfectly placed for exploring the old town and other neighbourhoods, and I’d recommend booking the hammam.
