Riad Dar Tiflet

The location made it easy to walk to the souks and the main square, and the rooftop breakfast was a lovely touch. It was prepared with care, and the rooms had just been renovated, so everything felt new and comfortable for a relaxing stay. Yassine was kind and welcoming even before we arrived, making sure all the details were taken care of. We had a wonderful surprise staying at this Riad and would choose it again if we return to Marrakech.

The rooftop is lovely when the weather cooperates, and the markets and square are an easy walk away. It can be tricky to find the first time, about 150m down a very narrow alley. The building is nice, the staff pleasant, and the room was comfortable. Breakfast was reasonable but there wasn't much choice. The plumbing was unreliable, with hot water coming and going. The room safe didn't work, there was no daily room service, and towels were changed only when I asked. I thought it was a decent place to stay, but lowered my rating from 4 to 2 stars after the manager's reply, which was untruthful and suggested my review wasn't honest.

The property is lovely, the location is great, and breakfast was delicious. The whole team looked after us so well during our four-night stay last week. We've been to Marrakech many times, and I can honestly say we'll be back to Dar Tiflet as soon as we can.

After the bustle and heat outside, it was so relaxing to come back here. We spent three nights in the blue room, with a double bed and private bathroom. The building is clean and nicely decorated with a heritage feel, and the team were very welcoming. Breakfast was generous, and there's a rooftop to lounge on. No TV, but the Wi-Fi was great and there were plenty of charging points. Everything is within walking distance, though you'll want Google Maps to find it at first. Cars can't get down the lane, so you walk the final stretch. Yassine and Mohammed were always around to answer questions and help with trips or restaurant searches. There are also plenty of nearby places to buy coffee or bottled water. Highly recommend.
