La Villa Bleue

We spent six nights here and had a great time. The riad was well maintained, and the service was very good. Abdul was always smiling and looked after us, and the manager readily let us switch from the room we were first offered. We also appreciated that the staff accommodated some special breakfast requests. The traditional Moroccan breakfast was different from what we’re used to, but enjoyable. We’d definitely come back, especially for the orange blossom scent.

The only thing I missed as someone used to city conveniences was a lift. Otherwise, this was a 10 out of 10 stay for me. We arrived late and were greeted by a lovely receptionist; the whole team was kind and helpful. Our room was very clean, nicely designed and sized, with enough storage. Breakfast was good, especially the excellent coffee, and the Meat Tagine was amazing. One of my best riad experiences in Morocco. Thank you, and I hope we can return to this charming place.

A riad has its own character and isn’t like a standard hotel, so keep that in mind. We found this one beautiful and comfortable, with very friendly service and great hospitality. The rooms differ, and they do their best to match one to your wishes. I liked it much more in every way than another riad in Marrakesh where we’d stayed the week before. If I come back to Marrakesh, I’ll stay here again.

It’s a peaceful spot a short walk from the busy streets, and there’s a small grocery store nearby. It was very hot while we were there, so we didn’t walk around the area much. Our five days went really well, and ABDUL was a wonderful host who took care of us and helped with everything we needed, including explaining the location. The rooms were cleaned daily, and breakfast was delicious with something different each day. My son enjoyed the pool, and we had a good massage on our last day. The cleaners and everyone else were friendly too. I’d recommend it to my family and book it again if I return. Thank you, Abdul ✅
