Riad Lapis-Lazuli

Abdou and Yassine were amazing hosts, so friendly and always ready to help. We’re very grateful to both of them. The ladies who handled breakfast and cleaning were sweet and attentive, and breakfast was delicious and really satisfying. The Riad is spotless and beautifully kept, with a great location in the heart of the Medina close to everything. Its decor made for an immersive Moroccan cultural experience, and the staff were incredibly kind and helpful. A five-star experience!

I booked the Riad for six nights but left after one. We were welcomed really well when we arrived, and the breakfast and hospitality were good. But stepping into the room was such a disappointment because it looked nothing like the photos I’d seen online. There were three of us, and the room was super small, really dark, dusty, and very used. We had no space to move around. Since I was with my parents, it wasn't comfortable, so we left after one night and had to book somewhere else.

The staff were warm and attentive, always ready to help with a smile. My room was comfortable, clean, and beautifully decorated. I had an amazing stay and would recommend this riad for a unique, authentic experience!

Mathew made the stay feel like home, which is getting harder to find these days. Abdu was both kind and incredibly capable as a handyman. We were welcomed warmly at Lapis Lazuli Riyad, and the thoughtfully decorated rooms were really comfortable. I already know I’ll book here again on my next trip to Marrakech.
