Riad Laz Mouassine & WELLNESS

Jamila, Ali, Elias, and the whole crew brought the food, kindness, smiles, and service I associate with Morocco. The location is ideal, on a quiet street close to restaurants and the souks. The architecture is beautiful, and there’s a heated rooftop pool. We had a wonderful couples’ Hamman while our daughter had a massage, which needs to be booked ahead. The weather wasn’t on our side, but the riad had one of the courtyard openings covered, so we could sit under shelter and listen to the rain. It rarely rains, statistically, but the covered courtyard was a lovely refuge. We’ll definitely come back, and I highly recommend it for a stay in the Medina.

Jamila, Ali, and all the staff were wonderful, from the men looking after the place in the evenings to the ladies upstairs during the day. Thank you so much! I visited in cooler weather and spent most of my time upstairs, though there are also excellent places to sit on the ground floor. The rooftop has lots of loungers and a heated pool, and you can have breakfast or larger meals up there. The food was great, including my tagine. I also had a hammam at the hotel, and they arranged both airport transfers. The riad just outside the souks was absolutely lovely, with a great room. I’d definitely recommend it and would love to return. Shokran!

I spent an afternoon here and used the pool, had lunch, a hammam, and a massage. Jamila at reception was very helpful, and Zahira gave me a fantastic massage. Lovely place and excellent service.
