I can’t recommend staying here. We couldn’t fly because of the war in the Middle East and had to postpone our trip. At first they offered a full refund, which was a relief during an already stressful few days. Then overnight they changed their position and kept the payment for our four nights, with no refund. We had wanted to go, but couldn’t get there. They didn’t seem concerned about our wellbeing, and weren’t sympathetic or caring. It’s very disappointing, and it has put me off staying here. They promised to return our money and changed their minds within about an hour. That left me finding it hard to trust them, let alone stay with them. My emails haven’t been answered, and the whole thing has ruined what was meant to be an anniversary celebration. We would have come back as repeat guests if we’d been treated fairly. Another hotel on our trip refunded us minus the Booking.com fees, which felt fair, and we’ll review them warmly when we stay again. This experience was the opposite.

Aminata deserves credit for running things smoothly, and the staff were very willing to help with our requests. We had a wonderful stay overall. The riad sits in a quiet lane just off the main road, a short walk from the north entrance to the main souks and the main square, with other sights nearby on foot. Our room was small but well maintained. The courtyard pool area was tidy and comfortable, though the small rooftop pool didn’t feel very inviting. Breakfast tasted good, but there was more food and variety than we could manage, so we left some items. We used Maps.me while exploring the markets and got through the passageways easily and confidently, apart from one minor issue.

The place was peaceful and felt safe, while still being within walking distance of everything we wanted to see and do. The rooms were great, breakfast was amazing, and the bar made great cocktails. We spent five nights here and by the end the staff felt like family. We were sorry to leave.

We’ve just spent three nights here, and it’s hard to think of a better hotel or riad stay I’ve had. Mohammed especially took good care of us, and all the staff were friendly and accommodating. The food was amazing, and the location was just right. Riad Les Yeux Bleus gave us a fantastic experience for the price, and I highly recommend it.

The staff were the highlight, though everything here felt top notch. Lovely rooms, a great bar, amazing food, a beautiful roof terrace, and a great pool. One of the best riads or hotels I’ve stayed in. 10/10.
