Riad Miski

We were a couple and found the room comfortable, clean, and well kept, with a firm double bed and a pleasant temperature. The shower was handheld, but it worked fine. The airport pickup and drop-off service was excellent. Though the riad is right inside the old walled city, it was surprisingly peaceful.

Very disappointing customer service. I had booked two nights, then ended up in hospital on a drip and was told I couldn't travel. I called but got no answer, and emailed them from the hospital with a report. They took 24 hours to reply and didn't offer any help, whether a full or partial refund or even a credit note so we could come back when I was able to travel. I understand they have rules, but it was a shame they showed so little empathy and handled this so poorly. I wouldn't stay here or recommend it to anyone.

Riad Miski feels like a calm, cool oasis in the old town, and the rooftop terrace is lovely. Hisham especially made our stay special. There was construction nearby, and some pieces of the wall in our room came down, a small drawback. The rooftop also had no sunshades, so it was almost impossible to enjoy its peaceful atmosphere during the day. Even so, we'd definitely recommend Riad Miski. Thanks for having us.

The food at the riad was a highlight. Hisham made a fresh breakfast each day, with orange juice, pancakes, omelettes, fruit, and more. For dinner, Ilhame's lamb tagine with Moroccan spices and fresh vegetables was succulent and juicy. Meals were homemade, high quality, and reasonably priced. The team made us feel welcome throughout our stay. Hisham was friendly and good-natured, and nothing seemed too difficult for him to arrange. Naima at reception was also exceptionally friendly and ready to help. After an awkward start, the staff and management turned things around and made the stay memorable. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with the amenities we needed, and the rooms and common areas were very clean and inviting. The rooftop was a lovely place for breakfast, though Marrakech winter mornings and evenings can be chilly. A gas heater or a glass enclosure on one side would make it cozier. We appreciated the service, location, and staff, and would return and recommend Riad Miski.
