Riad Spice by Marrakech Riad

The staff will meet you and help with your bags for the 8-minute walk in, since taxis can’t reach the Riad. We heard a little kitchen noise now and then from our ground-floor room, but it wasn’t too bothersome. Breakfast was good, and the limited dinner choices were tasty, though you need to order ahead. Riad Spice has ten rooms over three floors and a small pool in the courtyard. The owner told us the house dates back to the 17th century. It’s a beautifully restored traditional Moroccan home, with an intimate feel. The lively Medina is right outside and can be noisy, while inside it feels calm and welcoming. A lovely alternative to a standard hotel if you want to explore the Medina.

We were a family of four with two teens/tweens, and the location was fantastic. The staff were so friendly and helpful that they really made us feel at home. We loved our stay at Riad Spice!

Breakfast was freshly made and served whenever we chose, and the dinner I had on my first night was freshly cooked and delicious. The place is peaceful and comfortable despite being right in the heart of the Medina. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. I’d highly recommend Riad Spice for a few days in Marrakech.
