Step off an ordinary alley through a carved doorway and you find an ornate courtyard, with a pool and trees. There's a sliding roof for rainy weather, and little birds live there, making a pleasant sound. The rooms are very comfortable, the food is excellent, and the staff are friendly and helpful. The Riad is in the old city, so you're right among the lanes and craftsmen, the kind you don't see back home. It's the sort of stay that makes you want to start planning another visit as soon as your holiday ends.

The staff are super friendly and always glad to help. The room is clean and has what you need, including an inside bathroom, aircon, and daily service. The Moroccan food is so delicious, don't hesitate to order lunch or dinner there, it's a must. It's within walking distance of the city center and was the best possible place for our stay in Marrakesh ❤️

Spotlessly clean, beautiful, and really well equipped, with amazing staff. The roof terrace and sun loungers were lovely even on a clear day in January. The rooms were comfortable and cool, but also held their warmth well when we wanted to take the chill off. Since it's in the old city, you'll need taxis to get around. We booked airport transfers without help from the riad staff, and the vehicle couldn't drop us close. We had to walk 15 minutes with our luggage.

The rooms and Riad are tastefully decorated, and staying in an authentic old building in the city center was a good experience. But if comfort matters most, I wouldn’t choose this place. The rooms get very cold at night, and the air conditioning doesn’t heat them enough. The staff also kept asking us to pay two days before checkout and again during breakfast on checkout day, which felt out of place. Reception wouldn’t give us the Riad keys, and when we arrived late, it took a long time for someone to wake up and open the door, if they did at all. It’s hard to find in the Medina, where cars can’t go. It looks nicely decorated, but despite Google and booking sites calling it a five-star hotel, it doesn’t come close. The staff seemed inexperienced in hospitality.

The central courtyard, with its greenery and peaceful pool, was a lovely place to relax, and we even spent hours swimming at night. Upstairs, the rooftop terrace had loungers, sunbeds and umbrellas, and was great for sunbathing, games and watching the sunset. We had 10 bedrooms, two living rooms, a dining room and a kitchen; the rooms were beautifully furnished with detailed tilework, comfortable beds and air conditioning that felt great after the heat. The Riad’s traditional Moroccan style and warm atmosphere made it feel like a calm little oasis in Marrakech. We came as a family of 14 and were welcomed with mint tea and sweets by the friendly staff, including Miriam. Everyone was kind and helpful throughout the week, with tips for exploring the city. Miriam often helped my sister with her baby, and Stephanie was always smiling and tidying up after us. Bilal especially went out of his way to look after us, including our unwell family members and the babies. He was thoughtful, easy to reach and clearly cared about making our stay comfortable. His attention and warm manner made us feel at home, and left a lasting impression on all of us. Jemaa el-Fnna square, Bahia Place and the souks were only a short walk away. Coming back after sightseeing felt like returning to a haven, and the neighbors and people in the streets were lovely and helpful too. We had a remarkable week and can’t wait to return to Marrakech and Riad Nabila, especially to see Bilal again. Thanks to the whole staff for looking after us.
