The stairs are a real consideration here: there are no ground-floor rooms, and getting to the rooms means climbing quite a few steps. Mustafa was very helpful with our bags. For anyone with heavier luggage, porters with carts can help through the bumpy, crowded alleyways with people and motorcycles. It's about a 10-minute walk from the taxi gate. The central space has loads of charm and beauty, and breakfast was wonderful in a big, open area with birds hopping from table to table. The rooms have less of that charm and are a bit small, especially the bathrooms, with limited amenities. We especially appreciated Amina going out of his way to give us a free cancellation for several days because of accessibility difficulties. For young, fit travelers wanting to be in the middle of the action, it could be a great choice.

Getting there, especially at night, can be a bit of a hassle because of the locals. If you've travelled a lot or have already spent a couple of days in Marrakech, though, it shouldn't be a problem. The Riad itself is amazing, with lovely people, clean and well-equipped rooms for the price, a warm welcome and good breakfast.

They took us in at short notice and treated us like family. We were greeted with a smile every time, and the inside of the building is beautiful and really relaxing.

The kittens were such a joy, and Raffaa was a fantastic host who made us feel at home. The Riad is beautiful, and breakfast was lovely. The rooms aren't perfect, but they're clean and still lovely, and the beds are comfortable. It was very good value for money. I'd come back without hesitation. Thanks, Raffaa!

Hamza was kind and helpful, and the service was incredible. We really enjoyed our stay: the rooms were clean and a good size, and I've saved the Riad for future trips. It's tucked away a bit, but only a quick, easy walk.
