What a disaster. We arrived to find out from the receptionist that there was supposedly no room for me and my girlfriend, even though we'd booked weeks ahead. He sent a boy to take us through dark corners of Marrakech to a spare room in another building. It was a dirty, foul-smelling dorm with three cots instead of a double bed, no sheets at first, and a shared bathroom instead of a private one. The price, of course, stayed the same. We went back by ourselves after the guide disappeared. The receptionist, when we challenged him, told us to wait for the owner. As we were about to leave without ever meeting the owner, suddenly there was an empty room among many others. It had two separate beds and a demolished private bathroom, but it was 11 pm on Dec 31, so we had to take it. There was no apology, nothing. The receptionist was rude, the service poor, and the whole situation felt really unsafe. Don't go there, it's a scam.

After we checked in and paid, the owner showed us the room and told us not to use the bathroom. We were only there for one night. After many hours on the plane and then getting to the hotel, we could use the shower in another room, but only once. The downstairs shared toilet was really dirty and had no paper. The room door didn't even have a lock. Horrible experience.

Please avoid this hotel. Our plane was delayed and we got to the city centre after 1 am. The taxi couldn't get through the narrow streets to the hotel, and my phone battery was dead. We had no choice but to follow and trust a couple of kids, who couldn't find our hotel. Apparently it was closed, so they led us to this cheap alternative for the night. It was very late, so we accepted the first price, 20€ for two people, even though the room was below basic standards. When we went to reception to pay, the owner raised it to 40€, and the kids took another 10€. In the morning, they refused to give us a bill for our complaint about the flight delay. The room was dirty, the bed hadn't been made, the bathroom had nothing in it, not even a towel, there was no air conditioning, and the window wouldn't close properly. The worst hotel and tourist experience of my life.

Worst experience of all my time in Maroco. The bathroom didn't work at all, there was no toilet, and people who lived in the riad were very loud. The door had no lock either. Breakfast was after 10. The rooftop smelled strange, the place was dirty all over, and the streets were chaotic.
