On the last day, the room was left in terrible condition, unlike on previous days. A different housekeeper had cleaned it, not the person who usually did our room. Hair covered the whole bathroom, the towels had hair on them, and the bath mat was still there, completely wet. We are both blondes, and the hair was black. After finding the money missing and seeing the state of the room, I no longer felt safe there. Money had been taken from my passport, which I kept inside my clothes in the wardrobe. Someone had gone through my belongings, including my underwear, and taken foreign currency I’d hidden for safety. It was shocking and unacceptable. It happened on my birthday, after I’d waited a year for the trip. Instead of enjoying the day, I was dealing with theft, stress, and fear that someone had gone through my things, including my passport. This ruined the end of my trip and my birthday.

For my first traditional stay in Morocco, this was a really nice Riad, and I’d certainly recommend it to someone visiting for the first time. It was my birthday, and we found the rooms spacious, with the hotel areas consistently clean and quiet. Breakfast was flexible, with special requests available. Manager Amin was friendly and extremely helpful in arranging city trips and helping us plan our onward travel within Morocco.

The room had everything we could need and was fantastic. Breakfast was a big plus, served by a lovely lady, and all the staff were lovely. The place wasn’t too far from the medina, while still being convenient for heading out to explore. We had a wonderful stay and highly recommend it to anyone wanting to discover Marrakech 🥰

The staff were very pleasant, and our renovated room had extra heating and blankets. The riad is lovely and very well located, with long opening hours. The shower felt a little makeshift, though. Breakfast was greasy and repetitive, with no fruit, and the pool mirror was so grimy it was a shame for photos. This was during a November 2025 trip.
