Riad Zehar

Abdo was so friendly, and the location was great. The staff went out of their way to accommodate us. Breakfast normally starts at 8:30 am, but since we had to leave early, they prepared it for us at 7 am.

We came back from Marrakech with so much gratitude for the people at Zehar (Samira) Riad. Adnan met us where the taxi dropped us off and helped with our luggage. The riad is in the old city, where cars can’t go, so you walk through the market to get there. Abdo welcomed us with tea and biscuits, helped us plan our itinerary, and shared practical advice for getting around. Breakfast on the terrace was delicious, with a lovely view over the secret garden. We had four adults and five children, all eight or younger, and everyone treated the kids like royalty. Ismael was our main host and was incredibly helpful. Before our overnight desert trip and flight out, they let us leave our bags and offered us tea even after checkout. Adnan carried our luggage and walked us to the taxi both times, and refused a tip, though I wish he’d accepted it! They feel like extended family now. I can’t recommend Riad Zehar enough. It’s also called Riad Samira, though Zehar is on the door :)

Mohamed made this trip memorable with his wonderful service, stories, and laughs. My family and I miss you! Fatiha also helped us feel safe. The riad itself was my favorite place I’ve stayed, with a beautiful location and pleasant interior. This was the best holiday experience I’ve had compared with my other trips, and I’d definitely stay here again if I return to Morocco. Photos added from my Canon 2000D.

The room was spacious and comfortable, with air conditioning, and the riad is close to the Medina and main square, a great starting point for exploring. The person in charge was very kind and helped us organize our holiday. Breakfast was excellent, with jam, honey, typical bread, peanut butter, juice, eggs, omelette, coffee, milk, and tea. It felt like a home away from home. Best Riad in Marrakech.
