Front desk calls went unanswered, so be ready to speak French or Arabic, and the room had its own problems. The towels were thinner than my dad's underpants. Complaining might get you moved to an even worse room. The bar and restaurant staff were friendly, and the breakfast omelet lady made an excellent omelet, as you'd expect. Public areas never got cleared. Trash I'd left the night before was still there at breakfast, and the swimming pool might be half cat piss. At least I could watch SVU on the hotel television every night, which restored a little decorum during my stay.

My flight was delayed by a day, and I contacted customer service before travelling to explain. They told me everything would be okay. But when I arrived, the hotel wouldn't let me stay and marked me as a “no-show.” They kept all my money and refused a refund, even though I'd informed them in advance and the delay wasn't within my control. I found the whole thing extremely unfair and unprofessional. A hotel should show some understanding and basic customer service in situations like this. Be careful booking here: if something unexpected happens, you could still be charged in full and left without support or accommodation.

The service and tea were lovely. The staff were so cordial and accommodating, and the manager, Mr Saad, was a wonderful host. When we told him our flight was quite late, he even extended our checkout time. Amazing experience.

For the price, this is a great deal. The hotel is a little run down, and breakfast is perfectly decent. I never saw anyone having lunch or dinner there, so it didn't seem like the hotel really catered to those meals. I also don't understand why there are no bedside lamps.

The staff were all so friendly and helpful, and Mr Saad looked after our family especially well, very professionally. The hotel is decorated with its culture in mind and has all the facilities. We were really impressed. Thank you all.
