Dar Pa Labzioui

The terrace was a highlight, peaceful and looking out over Meknes. Our room was spacious and beautifully decorated, and we felt welcome and well cared for the whole time. On our first night, we had a delicious vegetarian tagine cooked at home. This was easily the best place we stayed during our Morocco trip, and I'd highly recommend it to anyone visiting Meknes.

We didn't want to leave. The riad is full of antiques, collectibles, and old photographs, and you could spend hours admiring the walls and shelves. Ghislane cooked delicious dinners and kindly shared some recipes and great tips. She and her husband Samad were incredibly kind, clearly loved Meknès I, and shared lots of information about the city. Samed livres history and livres too share his knowledge. We had really interesting, informative conversations on noticing in general. Said, the other staff member, served breakfast and was super nice and helpful. It felt like they truly enjoyed having us there, rather than seeing us as just customers.

Even though the weather was freezing, our rooms stayed warm and comfortable. I was there with friends, and the lovely riad made us feel right at home. Gizlane, Samad, and Saed gave us restaurant suggestions and helped arrange taxis for a day trip to Volubis. We enjoyed our stay and recommend it to others.

We stayed five days at Riad Dar Pa Labzioui with a large group of friends for a wedding, and had the whole place to ourselves. The owners were so welcoming and hospitable, and we felt at home. Breakfast was excellent, with something new, different, and creative every morning. Everything was clean and well maintained. The terrace was a lovely place to unwind, and the tea was amazing.
