Riad Yamcha

The medina location is great, and there’s a parking spot very close by. Right after booking, they send a detailed guide on how to reach it. Rooms were spotless, the shower was great, and the courtyard was cozy. The staff were the friendliest, and breakfast was super, with a refreshing change from the other hotel breakfasts we had. An absolute gem, I’d recommend it!

The breakfast really stood out: fresh fruit, msemen, pancakes, yogurt, two fresh juices, coffee, tea, and an omelette made with quality ingredients. It beat the breakfasts at the two other five-star hotels and the riad we visited on the trip. The room was roomy, nicely decorated, and practical, with a clean bathroom. The whole place was spotless and felt like a quiet oasis. Staff were friendly and helpful, and there’s parking nearby. Sightseeing spots are within walking distance.

Orange trees and banana plants give the hall a lovely feel, and I liked the bedroom furniture and the way the whole place was decorated. Breakfast was great, and the staff were excellent. It had a homelike atmosphere. The one drawback is the lack of parking at the hotel, so you have to walk over from the parking area. If a 10-minute walk doesn’t bother you, it’s a nice place to stay.

The rooftop was a lovely place to watch the sunset with some local tea, and breakfast was healthy and filling. Riad Yamcha is tucked into the medina, so you’ll need to park outside the gate and walk about 10 minutes. Google Maps can guide you there, and the entrance is a large red door. Our bright, spacious room opened onto the patio, which has orange trees and is a nice spot for tea, a drink, or breakfast. The bedroom was comfortable, the shower was good, and the bathroom was nicely done. The recently renovated riad felt like a peaceful oasis, with thoughtful details throughout.
